windows defender will not load, 0x800106ba

when my pc first starts up after signing on, it say windows defender didn't
load properly, 0x800106ba, try to start service manually. I also have no
sound or mic in yahoo and others do, i tried yazak and same result, i do have
sound and my mic is working...
help
how do i fix my windows defender problem....and my yahoo sound mic problem?

Uninstall the present Defnder and download the most recent widnows defnder
from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx

Also do you have Anti-virus Installed, turun the AV OFF when you do the
installation.

The Beta version of Defender expired on 12/31/06. Uninstall it and install
the new one. Get it from the Window Defender home page:
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx

If that doesn't do it, or if you have other Windows Defender questions post
to a Defender newsgroup.
