Windows Defender on Windows 2000 SP4

Hi,

I installed Windows Defender on a Workstation with a German Windows 2000 +
SP4 and GDIplus.dll in %Systemroot%/system32.
When I log in or try to start Windows Defender the following Message Pop's up:

"Fehler bei Anwendungsinitialisierung. 0x80010534. Zuordnungen von
Kontennamen und Sicherheitskennungen wurde nicht durchgeführt."

The only Button is OK, when pressed Windows Defender quits.

Is there a workaround?

My German is not up to this, I'm afraid. If this message relates to GDI+,
check whether you have the correct version--that location is correct.

If this message relates to a service starting--please check that your
machine is completely up to date with all critical updates as offered by an
express scan at windowsupdate.
