Windows Calendar Reminders Don't Work

Windows Calendar reminders do not show when Windows Calendar isn't running. I
have already ticked the "Reminders should show when windows calendar is not
running" in the Options menu. How do I resolve this issue? Thanks.

there is a KB article with a patch for this I do believe.
search the KB for it.
