I have a multi boot machine. I use BootitNG as my boot manager. 2K has
installed its own boot manager. How do I get rid of it?

Yes will it not still be running and therefore looking for NT partitions
when I want to do that if I think it necessary.

R-click My Computer, select Properties, Advanced, Startup and Recovery,
Uncheck "Show List".

No. The Win2000 boot loader does not look for
partitions. It simply displays the menu items
that you place inside c:\boot.ini before launching
the option you select (or the default option). This
is an integral part of the Win2000 boot process.
