windows boot disk

When I downloaded Norton GoBack, I was not prompted to enter an
administrative password. I am now being asked for a password before I can use
any of the features of GoBack. I contacted Symantec and was told to uninstall
and reinstall and then set a password. But I can't even uninstall without
first giving a password. Symantec says that I need a windows boot disk before
they can help. What's the deal with this windows boot disk?
