Windows 98 and XP Norton eats 98

I have setup a dual boot machine with a a C:\ primary
fat32 partition and windows98 Then I setup an E:\ NTFS
logical partion inside an extended partition. It all works
I can boot 98 and not see xp. Norton identifies a D drive
but says it can't read it. When I boot in Xp all works
fine but I can see my drive C fat32 and norton wants to
eat my 98 during one button checkup. How do I hide win 98
or the c: drive from XP

Seems to me the problem is with Norton.
