Windows 95 software installed on Windows XP Pro

While trying to load Maplinx v5.0 for Windows 95 on my
laptop running Windows XP Pro, a "Severe" dialog box
shows, "C:Windows\system32\Vbajet32.dll is loaded. Please
exit all windows programs before running this set up
program". Can this Windows 95 software be installed on
Windows XP. And if so, how do I "unload" the "system 32
program?

If the Compatibility Wizard does not allow installation, then check with
the publisher of your software program for an undated version that is
compatible with Windows XP.
