1. have seen a lot of microsoft data to find out simply "how to clean install
windows7 drivers 32 bit " for the windows 7 that i have recently upgraded to
from vista. there are a lot of computer-words used, but my question still
not answerd.
seem to obtain much better help from discussion groups and google than
microsoft

2. would i still require new drivers to be installed for the connected HP
C309A three-in-one printer?

1) Download the latest driver and follow the manufacturer's instructions to
install said driver.
2) Require? Depends on what you want to do.

What does HP tell you about that printer and Windows 7?

You upgraded to Windows 7.
So how is anything you asked about a Windows XP issue?

Windows 7 will probably have some drivers for the printer, but HP will
have different drivers and software that will show ink levels, etc.. you
should download the 205.79 MB package from here.

I just buy an hp c309a printer and i have 2 hp laptop 1 with vista ultimate
64bit and the other with windows 7 ultimate 32bit and a linksys wireless
router, im able to print from the vista machine wireless and also the hp wifi
printer show up on my network, but with the windows 7 machine it doesnt show
up at all, i open up the port in the firewall that the instruction indicate,
but still it cant show up(the printer), and then when i use the RJ45 cable
interface(to connect the laptop to the router) then printer it show up like
magic, and also if I connect the wifi hp printer to the RJ45 and conncect it
to the router it shows up too, can some 1 help me with this, i dont want any
of my laptop to be attach to no cable
