Marc

Bonjour,

I have a Windows 2000 server with Terminal services. My OS
is in english.

The first time I install office on this server It was
Office 2000 in

Now I need to install Office but in French. The
isntallation is ok, but the application (ex. Word)
doesn't open. No process are running.

This is probably somethings with dll...but what ? and how
to change it

Thanks

I'm not exactly sure what you want to accomplish: do you want to
*replace* the English version of Office with a French version?
If so, I would uninstall the English version, reboot and install
the French version (be sure to use the transform file from the
Office Resource Kit).

More likely, you want to provide your users with both the English
and the French version. If that is the case, the way to go is to
install the MultiLanguage Pack for Office (and why not for the
whole user interface as well):

Providing support for multiple languages on a TS:

You must have a core English server. Install the MUI for the
languages you need. You can set the language for each user through
Group Policies.

Using only the MUI, the whole interface + Internet Explorer will
use the language you configure.

Then install the MultiLanguage pack for Office and use Office
Policies to configure the language for Office.
