Windows 2000 server and Windows XP Pro Client Speed Problems

I've recently installed a Windows 2000 Small Business
Server, and have a mix of users running Windows 2000
Workstation and Windows XP Workstation. All of my XP
workstation systems take several minutes to log into the
network, print documents to network printers, and open or
save files from office products to network shares. None
of these problems happen with my Windows 2000 users. Any
ideas on what may be causing this to happen?

id it is not going to cause to much overhead than i would consider
installing the netbeui protocol on the xp machines if you have not
already done so. A lot of xp machines have browsing issues if netbeui is
not installed.

Check the ipconfig/all from those XP's to see if everything is pointing to
your server-IP. Have a look at www.smallbizserver.net for more issues with
XP.
