Windows 2000 Pro

I have a Win 2003 sbs server installed.

When I attach a win 2000 Pro desktop to the server it boots up and logs on
in just over 1 minute. When I assign applications to it through sbs - like
service packs, IE6 and outlook 2003 it then takes about 3-4 minutes to boot
up and logon.

I have also noticed that with win 2000 pro I do not get a folder created
under "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Windows Small Business
Server\ClientSetup\Clients\response"

Any idea why this happens and what makes it go so slow.

I presumed that your "REmote Registry Service" is running. To access registry
remotely, is achieved thru WMI, and by far the best in obtaining information
remotely.

Make sure the WMI Service(Windows Management Instrumentation) is running as
well.
