Windows 2000 installer - popping up for no reason.

I keep getting the windowsx installer dialogue box
popping up for no reason. It says that I don't have the
component I am trying to install - however I have not got
the windows 2000 disk in the CDrom drive and have no idea
why it keeps coming up - can anyone help please ?
