1dc: qttask.exe - No Disk_pop up

Keep getting this

1dc: qttask.exe - No Disk

box popping up, even though not wanting to add disk.

Think it may be associated with 6 in 1 USB card reader
usage although currently not plugged in..

Have tried, restart, shutdown & restore point; but 1dc:
qttask.exe - No Disk keeps coming up and "cancel" doesn't
cancel the error box.

How do I permanently stop this .exe from running and
calling for "insert a disk into drive G: (my CD drive)
when in fact I do not want to load anything.

The qttask.exe is Quicktime's updater. Open Quicktime and go to its
Preferences. Disable the system try and automatic updating. This should
take care of it, but just to be sure use msconfig (Start>Run and type
"msconfig" without the quotes) to be sure the box next to qttask is not
checked.
