Windows 2000 Install problem

I have windows 2000 pro installed and was having problems
with it so I tried reinstall the software to replace
missing files which i thought would be causing the
problem. I then fixed the problem without having to
reinstall, but everytime i boot up i get an option to
either install windows 2000 pro or boot up the installed
version. Can someone tell me how to get rid of this so my
computer boots on its own each time?

Sound like you reinstalled, you will have to identify the unwanted install
and delete. You will also have to edit the boot.ini file to delete the
unwanted reference.
Of course you may have problems in identifying the problem version - should
be the one showing no installed apps.
