"Windows 2000 could not start" error

I received the following error:

Windows 2000 could not start because the following file
is missing or corrupt: \WINNT\system32\c_437.nls

I booted the server from the Win2k CD and went to the
Recovery Console (through R for repair) to try to copy
the above file from the CD by using thr following command:
expand d:\i386\c_437.nl_ c:\winnt\system32\c_437.nls
and received the following error/message:
Unable to create the file c_437.nls

The file is on the CD, but I need help to expand it, and
to resolve the above subject problem/error.

goto to asnother pc which is working us eits cdrom dirve
to unzip or expand the file put it on a floppy then got to
the pc with probs and copy it over

ok if this fail jsut do a repair not recovery ocnsole
repair but ERD repair
