New HD can't install XP Home

I have just installed and formatted a new 160GB HD and purchased XP Home SP2
full version.

Windows Setup starts and then reads "File \i386\c_437.nls could not be
loaded. The error code is 32768."

What do I do now? Any help is getting through this is greatly appreciated.

Assuming that the HDD is the only hting you changed,Did you check to make
sure your HDD is listed under the Hardware Compatibility List for WIndows XP?
What happens when if you skip the file? Is the Windows you purchased an OEM
version?

Sounds like you may have a bad cd. Check the cd for scratches, or other
foreign substances. If you know someone who has a retail version of xp
home, you can use their media to install and use your product key. It does
not sound like an issue with your new HDD.
