If this is a work computer and you're part of a domain, your only option is
the old style logon. If this is your personal computer, take a look at the
following.
Go to Control Panel and double click User Accounts.
Under Pick a Task, click on Change the way users log on or off.
Put a check mark in the box next to Use the Welcome screen.
Hit the Apply Options button.
Restart your computer and see if you get the desired results.
