Window XP is goin krazy

Hi
i recently got my new computer it was working fine till one morning i
turned it on and then it just restarted by itself, it comes up with a
selection of starting like SAFE MODE, NORMAL etc so i picked SAFE MODE it
starts up but after the loading procedure finishes it pops a blue screen and
then restarts it keeps on doin this.
I was wondering if it is a Virus or Trojan

If u have any advice for me please post my com is very important to me

How are you with regard to checking for viruses and spyware. Do you have a
Firewall installed?

You should update your virus definitions and run full anti-virus scan. If
you do not have anti-virus programme installed you can run a free scan from
the internet. Try this link:

Spyware causes many problems. If not installed download Adaware and update
Reference file from http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/
and use it to remove parasites.

I was wondering if i reinstall my window xp would it all go away cause i
kannot even get to my start menu it keeps on restarting so kan i just
