window with printing preference too small

I can not see all the information in the pop up window for the preferences
when I hit print. Also when I try to save some things like pictures my folder
options window is too small. I have tried to make them bigger but no luck.
Can anyone help? I am using Win XP Home.

Nope, doesn't help. The fonts are already set to 8 pt. Making them smaller
doesn't enlarge the too small box, it just makes the font very hard to read.
This happens with many active or inactive inset windows like, for example,
print preferences window for my Epson printer. This window is about 60% of
the normal width while the data layoput is for the larger window making the
right 40% invisible and unusable. Can't scroll the windows to get to the data
either.

Open Display in Control Panel. On the Settings tab, click Advanced. On the General tab, in the DPI setting list, click the dots per
inch (dpi) setting you want to use. If you choose Other in the DPI setting list, you can set custom options
