Window Calendar stops

J

JacquieT

Every time I boot up with Vista Home Basic - I get a message telling me that
Windows Calendar has stopped working and either I can go online for a
solution and close the program or I can just close the program. When I do
open Windows Calendar, it seems fine - what's going on? Thanks JacquieB

Go here:
https://support.microsoft.com/common/survey.aspx?scid=sw;en;1399&showpage=1&WS=hotfix

Fill in the information, making sure to put in the correct
KB article no. 933942

Ignore where it says "Product and Version Affected".
Assuming you have Vista 32bit, be sure you pick
X86 under "Platform".

You may receive an email back asking to confirm your
operating system. It shouldn't take too long to receive
an email on where you can download the patch and a
password for the zip file.

Or, you can go here: (Thanks to Adam Albright for this site)
http://thehotfixshare.net/download/index.php?dir=Language Neutral/Vista/

Scroll down until you see your KB article number, and then download
the file. I've had a look at several of the hotfix patches here and haven't
found any of them to bogus, bad, or infected.

You never pay for a Hotfix. A Hotfix is a fix for a bug discovered in
Windows. Just follow the instructions in that article or use the information
Michael posted to get the hotfix. You will be sent an email with a download
location and password to get the fix.

Where it says x86, is that for the 32 bit version of Vista?

You're welcome. Just do me a favor and post back on how
long it took you to get a reply and the hotfix link. Just curious.
The last time I requested a hotfix, it took a total of two hours, and
I was stunned that it took such a short amount of time.... I was
expecting a day or two.
