Win98: stop a program from runnuing automatically on startup

can some one please tell me the steps to stop a program from automatically
running at windows startup (WINDOWS 98). I still want the applicaton to be
available, I just dont want it to stat until i do it manually. Also, i
don't want the icon to removed from the quick start toolbar. Thank you very
much
 
TRy asking in one of the microsoft.public.win98. groups. We all speak
NT around here.

Start --> Run --> MSCONFIG --> Startup Tab
