Win2k3 TS and Black Screen after Inactivity

I've got about 10 users hitting TS on a Win2k3 server and their sessions go
black after a period of inactivity. When that happens, basically the entire
TS session has locked up and they must more or less kill it. I have
checked/disabled the following:
- screen savers
- power settings
- session limits
- session timeouts

I have checked both in AD for each user's session settings and for TS
configuration settings, but can't seem to find where/why this is happening.

I also thought about the possibility of the router timing out, but it even
happens during the day with another 10 users banging away... so I don't
think that is the problem...

Any thoughts?

Yup. The problem source comes from the fact that RDP-TCP
is low bandwidth, which can cause some routeres/network
equipment to think the socket is dead and needs to be
killed off. When you sit back down and try to work again,
the client can't establish the connection to the server,
since now the socket at the router/network device is dead.
