Win2k+win98

Did anybody ever try to instal win98 as another OS on PC with existing
win2k? I know that reverse operation is possible and even autorized by MS,
but I need to use some DOS-type soft what is working OK under Win98 and is
turned down by Win2k. I've tried DOS emulator 0.63 without success. Thank in
advance for any remark on this subject. Regards, Miram.

See here:

Cannot start Windows 2000 or Windows XP after you install Windows 98 or
Windows 98 Second Edition

What you have to do is repair the startup environment after you install
w98. You're not thinking of putting that on the same partition, are
you? Make an ERD before you start and make sure that your important
files are backed up, anything can go wrong with these things.
