Win2K SP3 causes mdac probs

Hi,
I have several MSAccess2K2 and VB applications that I have written
that use DAO 3.6. Since I installed the SP3 for win2k (which I know installs
MDAC 2.7) a basic call 'DBEngine.OpenDatabase' does not work.

Does anyone know why this may be the case?
