How do I install 2 OSs ( Win2K Pro and WinXP Pro ) into my
my pc using 1 HDD and I would be able to choose which OS I
like to boot my pc. Please advice. Thanks.

Quite easily actually. Always best to install OS's on separate partitions.
To do a clean install, either boot the Windows 2000 install CD-Rom or setup
disks. The set of four install disks can be created from your Windows 2000
CD-Rom; change to the \bootdisk directory on the CD-Rom and execute
makeboot.exe (from dos) or makebt32.exe (from 32 bit) and follow the
prompts.

When you get to the point, delete the existing NTFS and or other partitions
found. After you delete the partition(s) abort the install, then again
restart the pc booting the CD-Rom or setup disks to avoid unexpected drive
letter assignments with your new install. Create an appropriately sized
partition fro Windows 2000 and continue the install. Then boot the Windows
XP install CD-Rom and choose to install to the unallocated space.

Do I need to reformat my existing HDD which already
installed with Win2K Pro and then do the clean
installation from the scratch ???
Can I repartition the HDD from the Windows and install the
WinXP after that ???

You can use Partition Magic or some other equal.
