Win2k Logon to NT Domain

B

Billy

I am having problems loggin on to the Windows NT 4 domain
through my Windows 2K computer.

I looked on KB for the error "The session setup from the
computer..." (this was the message in the event viewer on
the NT machine) which gave me the KB article 150518. This
article says the secure channel between the client and
domain is broken and to remedy, I need to use the NETDOM
command. I tried running that on the server and could not
get the comman parameters correct, so I gave up.

I then looked to see if I could remedy the situation
through the Win2k machine and found article 329721. I got
the NETDOM.EXE file from microsoft and followed the
details to reset the Win2k member from Windows NT 4 domain
but got the message "Access Denied".

Can anyone help here.

Thanks
Billy

What does an ipconfig/all from the W2K give? Is everything pointing to your
server-IP?
