Win2k continuous reboot

I had to uninstall SP4 along with some of the latest
patches because of a conflict with a piece of hardware.
After uninstalling a patch, the machine needed to restart,
which it did. But now it never gets past the Windows
splash screen before it reboots and starts all over. I
have removed the drive and can access the data. Is there
any way to find the conflicting drviers and fix them? I
have access to the Uninstall directories of the updates,
with the original drivers and registry entries. Since
they're just batch files would it be ok to run them?

I don't think removing the drive and trying to fix it remotely is the
correct procedure. Have you tried going into safe mode? BTW, there have
been numerous posts in this NG recently about similar problems associated
with the blaster worm, might want to check into it.
