win2003 fax client side problem

I have Win Standard 2003 insalled on the server. Clients run 2000
professional. Out of 20+ clients only one client has a problem. I can load
the fax client, but when I go to print it state that the fax server
information cannot be retrieved. The fax wizard will close now.

I have uninstalled/reinstalled. Logged on as administrator. Used a
different user. Same thing.

Any suggestions.

Can you please explain the situation with more details.

My first guess is that this is a permission related problem. Please check
that the user has permissions to access the shared fax printer. You can go
to Fax Service Admin Console > Local > Properties > Security to manage
shared fax printer security settings.

By the way does your network have a Domain Controller? Is the machine on
which fax printer is shared the domain controller?

Also check if you are able to access any other shared resources (like shared
printer for example) on the server from the problematic client machine.
