win2000 -> Xp print problem

I have a winXP home machine with a locally attached
printer. I had a win98 machine & I created a networked
printer to print to the xp printer. Thw win98 machine was
replaced with a win2k machine. I created a network printer
with no problem (used browse to find the printer). When I
print a test page nothing gets printed. There are no
errors and nothing in the print queu of either machine.
Any ideas appreciated.
 
Uninstall the network printer from the XP PC and then try reinstalling
it..... it may be a permissions error....

Can the XP PC see the files and folders on the 2000 PC?
