win2000 booting

Have a pc with a swapable cdrom & floppy drive. when I
start the pc...it boots continuosly in a loop but never
start
the Operating system. I have tried starting with the setup
disks, but at the end of that it reqiure the cdrom and i
cannot swap the cd drive with rebooting the pc....pls help

Please state exactly how far the boot process goes and
what messages you see. Press the "Pause" button to
freeze the process if necessary.

there were no messages....it will show the win2000 logo
and then the "press the F8 for troubleshoot. it just keep
looping

Hi Gevallia,

Try booting to Safe Mode and do this:

Start
Settings
Control Panel
System
Advanced[tab]
Startup and Recov...
uncheck Automatically reboot
OK out
restart
and write down the BSOD
post it here and someone can help you.
