Win XP setup - Missing or currupt system32/driver/ntfs.sys

Trying to install Win XP in a new hard drive, but during
setup locks up on blue screen during "loading "kernel
debugger.ddl" than when I reboot, system says "missing or
currupt system32/driver/ntfs.sys." Its doing this even
when I try to install Win XP onto another HD. Your help
would be appreciated. thank You

This still doesn't give me the answer of why i am getting
the "missing or currupt system32/driver/ntfs.sys" phrase
or why it stops on "loading "kernel debugger.ddl" Any
other advise? Thank You

The reason for this error message may be related to damaged memory.
Try reseating or replacing the RAM modules.

To Carey Frisch [MVP] or anyone:

Can you provide more information on the RAM aspect of this problem. I have a Toshiba Satellite and recently purchased RAM from EDGE Tech Corp. (512MB PC-2100 SO DIMM). I began encountering the "damaged or missing ntfs.sys file" problem shrotly thereafter.

Can the problem be solved after simply removing the RAM or is it too late? Thanks much!
