win xp reinstall

Hello,

After some enourmoues malware problems i decieded it would be best to
install xp pro from scratch. So i find my cd, pop it in my computer and
everthing goes fine. I cannot download the updates before the instal
because i no longer wish to connect to my network due to my
malware/adware/virus problems. So everything runs perfectly, the
computer then reboots and begins loading windows setup files, press f6
to load different RAID drivers etc. Then when it gets to loading
windows my computer screen flickers and crashes to a blue screen.

"PROCESS1_INITIALIZATION_FAILED" with
***STOP: 0x0000006b (0xC000003A, 0x00000002, 0x00000000,
0x00000000)

I have pasted the entire error message at the end.
There has been a post on this website for this particular problem, the
solution was to remove roxio goback or the goback feature associated
with Norton Systemworks, the poster of the thread never postede again.
I dont have either of those, i have also checked the microsoft data
base and it suggests that solution as well. I am now wondering, should
i download a program such as killdisk to wipe my hard drive entirely
and then instal xp again. Right now i can still use my PC for word
processing and printing which is why i am so hesitant to wipe
everything. Any advice at all would be greatly appreciated, please see
the entire error message below.
Thank you in advance for your time and effort.

A problem has been detected and windows has been shutdown to prevent
damage to your computer.

PROCESS1_INITIALIZATION_FAILED

If this is the first time you have seen this stop error screen, restart
your computer. If this screen appears again, check to make sure any new
hardware or software is properly installed. If this is a new
installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any
windows updates you might need.

If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or
software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If
you need to use Safe Mode to remove or disable components, restart your
computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup Options, and then select
Safe Mode.

Technical Information:

***STOP: 0x0000006B (0xC000003A, 0x0000002, 0x0000000, 0x0000000)
