Hi I have a problem with a Mesh computer,
When I boot up Running Windows XP Pro it gets to the windows logo and then
flashes a blue screen (point of a second) and reboots. goes to a black
screen with white writing with last known configuration - safe mode - ETC.
But does not matter what I select it goes back to this screen, can not start
in any mode, Have reinstalled Windows with and with out service pack 2 but
after a couple of days of starting fine it goes back to the Windows logo and
starts the cycle all over again. Can any one please help as this is driving
me made.
please be easy with me as I am a newbie !!!!

Best Regards

Reinstall XP (without any service packs) . This time disconnect all of your
add on components except mouse , keyboard and monitor. Do not load any third
party software including display driver if necessary. Set bios at default
prior to reinstalling. Run for three or four days , if no problem install
one needed software program at a time followed by a time period for
dependability. If you have the same problem with all software removed , your
problem would probably be hardware related , such as overheating , bad
memory ram , hard drive ,etc. JJ

thanks to every one for there comments, will do memtest, When I reinstall
windows I use fdisk and get rid of all partitions I then run the command
fdisk/mbr to kill the master boot record or so I was told? I then reinstall
the partition and load in windows set the firewall on and load in Norton
antivirus before I hook up the windows update.
