To all,

I was conducting a test run of WinXP Pro on my desktop
before installing it on my laptop. My laptop was going to
be the user. I was using the desktop to test out
features. It originally ran Win ME. When I was satisfied
with the test I performed I tried to format the desktop to
revert it back to ME so that I can use XP Pro on my
laptop. Unfortunately I had forgotten that once NTFS was
selected I cannot go back to FAT32.

My question is, can I Completely erase all data on the
hard drive and reinstall ME? I tried to format with my
system restore cd but it would not except it. I only get
the Abort, Retry, Fail errors.

It's driving me insane! Someone please help.

Sincerely,

Al
