Win XP Network Wizard

Guest

I purchased my HP Pavillion 700 3 years ago.
Now I want to connect an old computer to this one.
Old computer has Win 2000.
New computer used to have Network Wizard but now it won't start when I click
on it.
How do I restore Network Wizard?
Do I have to a complete restore?
Thanx for your help, Barbara.

Try clicking the shortcut to it in Start | All Programs | Accessories
| Communications.

If that doesn't work, copy/paste this line into the Start | Run box
and click OK. If the line wraps in your news reader, note that the
only blank is after "rundll32.exe":

%SystemRoot%\System32\rundll32.exe hnetwiz.dll,HomeNetWizardRunDll

XP's Network Setup Wizard doesn't run on Win 2000. The default
network settings on Win 2000 are compatible with XP. It isn't
strictly necessary, but specifying the same workgroup name on both
computers can make networking them a little easier.
