Win XP Home with SP1 .... was SP1 installed ?

I recently installed Win XP Home that included SP1 on a
brand new system (that I built). How do I know if SP1 was
installed or, do I have to locate the SP1 on the CD and
install it separately ?

It should have installed automatically but, you can go to Start>Run and type
"winver"(no quotes) and it will say SP1 if it is installed.

Press WIN key + Pause and in the General tab of the System Properties you
will see the version of the operating system. (or right click on My Computer
and choose Properties)
The service pack is certainly integrated into the Setup disk.
