I know you need to buy an additional license or another retail disk to use
Win XP on more than 1 computer, but I want to know if the Home Ed. Upgrade
disk is capable of installing the OS on 2 different computers. I have built
2 new comp. from scratch and had no problems installing it on the 1st one,
but it keeps shutiing down, or is unable to load certain files, or just hangs
during the install on the 2nd comp. I'm wondering if there is something
wrong with the MB or hard drive or if the OS disk just isn't capable of
installing on 2nd comp. after it has been activated on 1st. I plan on buying
another retail disk, but I'm trying to trouble shoot this problem first.
Shouldn't it install more than once without a problem?
