Win XP/Games/Works2000

I have win XP Home preinstalled on my laptop. I
installed MS Works suite 2000 as I had it and been using
it on the previous computer. From day one the
preinstalled games in XP have caused the system to go
into "standby" mode. Yesterday the history file in works
vanished, I have not lost anything as the file are in "my
documents", it's just inconvenient.

Is there a compatibility problem with XP & Works 2000?
Do you know if MS sell an upgrade pack? As big as they
are getting such infomation from them seems impossible.

Yes they are compatible, though you should upload any updates for MSWorks.

Did you by any chance use the "clear documents" button in the advanced
taskbar and start menu dialogs?
