Win 7 gaming

i lately upgraded my laptop 2 win 7,bt discovered all the games working reasonably well in win xp are not suiting the resolution in win 7.
this is causing the games screen to be much smaller than the monitor
resolution of my laptop is 1366x768
please help

When you start games they usually have a range of options in a menu. Find the one called "SETTINGS" or "OPTIONS"and you should be able to alter the game to suit your monitor.

I have already tried that but the setting shows only the resolution of 640x480 which does not suit my screen resolution

You got the graphics drivers installed?

Specs are?

All the drivers are installed as per requirements.
Even games like road rash are prone to such problems,so specifications are out of question.
but then too the specifications are Dual core 2.10 GHz with 3 gb ram

I have 64 Mb on board graphic card.

I am using Acer Aspire 4736z laptop.
