Easiest is to start by installing the Win98, then from that system run
the XP CD. Take install, then next page change Upgrade to 'New
Install'. When it asks you to confirm where, point it to the other
partition (you may need to hit ESC to be able to) and it will set up a
dual boot. Note that this starts with a boot into XP boot files in the
*Win98* partition - so never be tempted to do something like a SYS C: on
that!
