win server 2000 shut dow with terminal services

I have a win 2000 file server with 10 licenses and 5
local users and 2 remote terminal services users. All
goes well except when I lof off the computer in the
evening. Everyone, including the remote users log off but
when I go to shut down the system it reports that two
users are still logged on. I suspect that the remote
terminals are leaving an active switch open after logging
off. Is there asolution to this. Right now I just ignore
the message.

Try settings the timeouts in your terminal services
configuration lower. In your case, I'd imagine that those
people are disconnecting from the server and their session
are not being reset. Try setting the disconnected session
timeout lower, to 15 minutes or so.
