WIN LOGO TEST

George

Greetings. What is the worst case scenario if I ignore
the "The software you are installing has not passed
Windows Logo Testing to verify compatibility with Windows
XP" and install the software for a digital camera,
specifically Oregon Scientific model DS6618, anyway?
How likely is this to happen? Thanks.

Hi George,

I have several USB devices here which I installed software
for by ignoring that message, and no harm became of it.

To be absolutely safe, create a restore point before installing:

Hope you find this helpful George, and Good Luck! :)

If it is the software from the manufacturer of the camera, it should
function. Drivers are many times released pre-certification since
certification may take an indefinite period of time.
