Win Explorer doesn't go to top of list

In Win Explorer if I'm viewing subfolder B which is in folder A, and
then I click on folder A in the left pain to see what's in folder A,
in the right pain rather than going to the top of the list it
highlights subfolder B, which might be near the top or middle or
bottom depending on sort. So I'm constantly scrolling to the top of
the list to see what's most recent (my typical sort). This is one of
those things different than XP. Is there a fix for this new "feature"?

Thanks,
Tom

Yeah, this is a great "feature" isn't it. No idea why the Vista team
decided to keep moving to the center of the list. I have the same
issue if I am working with files in a directory. Scroll to the top or
bottom after *every* action.

I also have some horizontal scrolling issues, especially in
directories with filesnames of different lengths.. about 10% of the
time my file list scrolls completely off the left of the window. I
need to change view modes to see the files again.
