How can I get my scanner to work with my Windows XP
Professional?
I need the scanner and it just gives me an error message
that my scanner is not hooked to computer. How to fix
this problem?
 
The make and model of scanner would allow us to check. Sorry, but we cannot
see that information from behind our own PCs.

The first port of call for you should be the website of the scanner
manufacturer.
