Widows XP - Virus

Whenever I try and install a new program/connect to the
interenet, windows shuts down and I can't do anything
else. I tried downloading the 32-bit security patch but
that also haults half way thru being installed. Help!

Does it only happen when youre connected to the internet? Do you have
firewall turned on? Do you have the latest security patches?

Go to mcafee .com---download stinger--have it scan your

files-----it found 32lovsan on mine which is a virus that
shuts youy down every 5minutes or so. then you need a
patch from microsoft--still working on that.
