Why my client computer always master browser?

Event log always have the warning message

"The master browser has received a server announcement
from the computer 20QC15-SUBRA that believes that it is
the master browser for the domain on transport NetBT_Tcpip_
{5022CA49-B2BE-4. The master browser is stopping or an
election is being forced. "

2000 is messed up like that by default. If you have 1 DC then go to regedit
and change IsDomainMaster to True in both places and your clients will
behave again.

Quick fix: disable the computer browser service on the errant PC. It won't
affect your computer's ability to browse...this will just prevent it from
trying to be the boss.
