Why is this so difficult?

When I open a new browser window, it doesn't open full screen (maximized),
it's in the "normal" state. How do I change it so that whenever I open a new
browser, it opens maximized?

You'd think by version 6.0 of a product, MS would make this a little more
obvious and "user friendly."

Out of Gripe mode now.

Thanks,

Hi PA Bear,

I have followed the instructions and it still isn't quite right. New
windows now open ALMOST full screen, but it is still in a Normal state. I
really want new Windows to open fully maximized, in the Maximized state.

Is this too much to ask of IE? :)

Thanks,

Close all other windows but the "normal" (resized) one. Maximize it then
close whilst depressing CTRL. If a link opens in a new window, you may not
be able to control the new window's size. You should be able to re-size a
smaller window to fill the space of a maximized one.

To have the initial IE window open Maximized: Start>Programs>Internet
Explorer>right-click>Properties>Run>maximized.
PABear, thanks for the info, but this still does not accomplish my
objective. New windows do not open Maximized. I guess this IS too much to
ask from IE. I reiterate my original question: Why is this so difficult?

I give up.

*Some* new windows (opened via a hyperlink) just won't open maximized or
full-sized no matter what you do.
