Why is remote web site view still unavailable in Front Page?

Front Page 2003 SP2
I've successfully published one web site. I've designed a new web site and
want to publish it to a different site address. I've followed the MS
instructions but still the Publish and View/Remote Web Site commands are
unavilable. How do I publish my 2nd site?

Does your new website live it it's own "root" folder ( is a separate web )??
Do you have this "web" open when you try to publish.
Does the folder for this new web have the blue globe on it, which indicates that it is a
separate web??

I've tried publishing the site from it's own folder from inside the My Web
Sites folder and outside the folder with no luck.
Yes, I have the web pages open on the screen when trying to publish.
The folder does not have a blue globe on it.

In FrontPage, right click the folder and select " convert to web".
Then recalculate hyperlinks, and then try to publish.

Hi Steve,
I can't do what you suggested because the menu selection is inactive
I believe I have found the source. I purchased MS Commerce Manager
for this web site for it's shopping cart feature. I downloaded a file as
instructed by the directions and ran the file which loaded a new menu
bar into Front Page. I believe this is what is causing the problem.
Now I must read thru a ton of help files to figure out how to publish
the site with the software in this condition or figure out how to
unload the file.
