Why is Internet Gateway Showing Up?

I have a Dynalink 4 port ADSL router which I am connecting 3 computers
to. On 1 of the computers, I'm getting an Internet Gateway connection
icon appearing in the status bar as well as the normal LAN connection
icon.

I thought the Internet Gateway was only used when Internet Connection
Sharing was enabled? Yet in this case all computers are connected
directly to the ADSL router so I didn't think ICS came into it (I
definitely haven't explicitly enabled it).

It's not causing any problems, but I'm just curious as to why the
Internet Gateway icon is appearing.

It is for UPnP. Universal Plug and Play. Internet Gateway=Router.
