Why don't the animated gifs animate in my emails in MS Outlook?

Is there something I can change or add in MS Office Outlook so when I receive
an animated gif in an email, it animates?

You can open it in the browser - open the message and in outlook 2007, other
actions button, view in browser. in older versions, look on the view menu.

I have one computer with Vista & Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 on and it does
not animate and I have have a second computer with XP & Microsoft Office
Outlook 2003 and it does animate. What changed and is there some way I add
something to my newer computer so it displays the animated gifs automatically?

Nope - Outlook 2007 does NOT do animations. Period. Thank goodness...

What changed

The version of Outlook. Microsoft removed animation support from Outlook
2007 for security reasons.

Don't use Outlook 2007. Use something less secure.

How can an animated gif be insecure - or less secure than a non-animated
one - just wondering. :)

Maybe thank goodness for you but some of us appreciate the feature. It should
be a personal setting.

I don't need the ham handeded propeller heads at MSoft (or you) making that
decision for me

Gee, not using Email or the internet would be even more secure. Why not
disable that to really increase security

Why not quit using Outlook and do something else? Someone holding a gun to
your head, smart*ss?
